Request for Information
I am writing to confirm that we have received your e-mail message requesting information from Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council on 21 December 2008.
The information you requested is detailed below:
1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which
the council has access to waiting list data?
2) How many plots are on these sites?
3) How many people are on these waiting lists for an allotment?
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?
I have enclosed the following information in response to your request in the same numbered order as requested.
The council has 18 allotment sites within its area and holds access to the waiting list information for each of these sites.
There a total of 383 plots, distributed across each site as shown in the table below.
The number of people currently on each of the waiting lists for each site is shown in the table below.
None of the waiting lists are closed to applications.
In addition to the council managed sites there are two privately owned sites in the Borough, one at Ledsham and one in Little Neston. Therefore there are 20 sites in total in the Borough.
