John Finn made this Freedom of Information request to Bank of England

Bank of England did not have the information requested.

From: John Finn

16 May 2011

Dear Bank of England,

I'm doing research on the €500 banknote and wonder if you would
have information on the following:

1. Is there any law controlling the retail availability of the
circulation and supply of Euro currency in the UK in particular the
€500 banknote.

2. Where do banks in the UK obtain Euro currency in particular the
€500 banknote

3. Have you any evidence based research linking the Euro in
particular the €500 banknote to crime in the UK

Yours faithfully,

John Finn
