[FOI #4754 email]
Dear Jo Simon,
Ref WNC.09.FOI.000002
Request for Information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
I am writing further to your email of 12 December 2008 and our acknowledgement of 12 January 2009, where you requested electronic copies of all agendas, papers and minutes for board meetings during 2007 and 2008.
The minutes from the December 2008 Board meeting will not be cleared until the next Board meeting in mid-February. We will email to you, the documents from the December Board meeting after this date.
The total number of documents you have requested, is very large and will take up a considerable amount of capacity on your computer. To avoid you having difficulty receiving and opening all the documents you have requested, I suggest we send the documents to you for two meetings at a time, and repeat this in four emails. With your agreement, we would suggest we also do this on four consecutive work days, so that you have the opportunity to print out, or transfer the documents pertaining to each meeting out of your Inbox, before we send the next set of documents for the next two meetings.
I am therefore attaching with this letter, the papers for the meetings that took place on 7 February 2007, and on 22 and 23 May 2007. Papers from remaining Board meetings will be provided along the terms set out above.
We will also ensure that in future, all papers relating to meetings of the Board will be placed on the WNC website, once they have been cleared by the WNC Board. Once again, please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your request.
If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be submitted within two months of the date of receipt of the response to your original letter and should be addressed to: Barbara Collins, Director, Women's National Commission at the address above.
Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future communications.
If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at:
