Thank you for your e-mail communication dated 8 December 2008, in which you seek details of any computer controlled Methadone dispensing equipment purchased for use by Drug treatment agencies in Wales. Including the costs of such equipment and the details of any tender documents issued for the procurement and the end result of any tender process.

I am writing to advise you that following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that the information you requested is not held by the Wales Office.

However, health is a devolved responsibility to the Welsh Assembly Government and therefore they may hold the information you are seeking. If you have not already done so then you may wish to write to the Welsh Assembly Government at:
