(SPEED LIMIT) (No. 70) ORDER 2009 
 
VARIOUS ROADS, HONLEY 
 
The  Council  of  the  Borough  of  Kirklees  ("the  Council")  in  exercise  of  their  powers 
under  Sections  81,  82  (2)  and  84  (1)  (a)  and  Part  IV  of  Schedule  9  to  the  Road 
Traffic  Regulation  Act  1984  (“the  Act”)  and  of  all  other  enabling  powers  and  after 
consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 
to the Act hereby make the following Order which relates to lengths of road at Honley 
in the Kirklees Metropolitan District. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
SPEED LIMITS 
 
1. 
No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20 mph on the 
length of road specified in the Schedule to this Order. 
 
 
GENERAL 
 
2.  
Any reference to a Statute or Statutory Instrument in this Order shall include 
reference to any subsequent Statute or Statutory Instrument where the 
context requires it. 
 
3. 
This Order shall come into effect on the 15th day of March Two thousand and 
ten and may be cited as the “Kirklees Council (Speed Limit) (No.70) Order 
2009”. 
 
GIVEN under the Corporate Common Seal of the Council of the Borough of Kirklees
