Thank you for your request for information, which was received by Manchester City Council on 16 August 2010 and has been considered under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FoIA).

I apologise again for the delay in responding to your request.

You asked for the following information:

  1. Please disclose actual invoices received from Common Purpose during the last two years.

  2. Please disclose E-Mails and letters between Sharon Kemp and Common Purpose from April 2010.

In response to Part 1 of your request, I can confirm that the Council holds 9 invoices that were received from Common Purpose during the period from 16 August 2008 to 16 August 2010. As you may be aware, FoIA provides of right of access to information, not necessarily documentation, and as you have not requested the names of attendees (which is personal information about a third party and may in any event be exempt from disclosure to the world at large under FoIA on the grounds of the exemption at Section 40(2) of FoIA), I have summarised the non-exempt information contained in the invoices in the following table.
