FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NUMBER 0943/2008 
 
I refer to your request for information dated 28 November 2008, which was received by 
Strathclyde Police on that date. Your request has now been considered and on 30 December 
2008, a decision was made to grant your request in full.  As such, the information you have 
requested is attached. 
 
Could you please provide me with the number of crimes and offenses committee in Govan and 
Craigton in 2007/ 2008 financial year broken down into types 1 - 7 crimes and offenses. 
 
Please see the attached table which shows crime statistics for the Govan and Craigton Sub 
Division of Strathclyde Police from financial year 2007/08 dating back to 2002/03. The 
statistics show the number of reported crimes, number of detections and detection rates 
broken down by Crime and Offence Group. 
 
I hope this information is helpful, however, if you are not satisfied with the way in which 
your request has been dealt with, you are entitled in the first instance to request a review of 
the decision made by the Force.  Should you wish to request such a review, please write to
