Dear Mr Lister

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST

Your request for information has now been considered and the information requested is set out below:-

`………….. copies of all written (electronic and paper) agreements (contracts and emails) which indicate and/or approve a discounted chargeable rate between the Local Authority Land Charges office for compiled local search reports and the National Land Information Service (NLIS) which is now known as Land Data.'

Statutory Instrument SI2502 of 2003 compelled local authorities to charge £4.00 for an LLC1 when it was submitted electronically as opposed to £6.00. These arrangements were in place from 3 November 2003 until 31 March 2008. No other discounted fees have ever been in place at Bexley. There are no records available on this matter, but I can confirm that the London Borough of Bexley has no agreements in place with NLIS, or indeed any other electronic portal search provider.

If you have any further information needs in the future then please contact me.

If you are unhappy with the way the authority has handled your request, you may ask for an internal review. Please contact the FOI review Officer at [Bexley Borough Council request email] who will arrange an internal review of your case.

You also have a right of appeal to the Information Commissioner at:
