Further to our letter of 3^rd August 2010, your request for information has now been considered and the information requested is set out below.

Q Could you please provide me with a list of all nurseries and pre-schools, both private and council run, within the Herefordshire area.

Please include full contact details, including address, phone number, fax number (where applicable) and email address, and the company registration number (where applicable).

A Please see attached documents setting out details of the nurseries within Herefordshire and the pre schools.

With regard to company registrations numbers, this is not something which we hold as a matter of course, those who are limited companies are obviously private businesses but with the information provided to you, you could freely obtain these from Companies House and any enquiries can be made to [email address]. As such this information is publicly accessible elsewhere and thus exempt from disclosure under this request by virtue of S21 of the Act. Please take this letter as a refusal notice under S17 therefore.
