I am pleased to enclose the following information in response to your recent 
Freedom of Information request regarding the number of children forcibly 
adopted during the last 5 years. 
 
Unfortunately we are unable to provide the number of children forcibly 
adopted in 2005/6 as the adoptions were not broken down in this way until 
2007, so those adopted with and without consent were all counted together.  
Please see the attached document for the information relating to 2007 - 2010.
