Freedom of Information Request - Sandwell Today

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request dated July 28, 2010 which requested:

Could you please tell me the cost of publishing and distributing the internal newsletter 'Sandwell Today' for the past financial year.

Could you also tell me if it is distributed online either through the Intranet or via email.

The staff magazine Sandwell Today was published in the financial year 2009/10 at a cost of £7,120. This was distributed internally at no extra cost.

This was one of the last paper-based editions of Sandwell Today. In the current financial climate it has been decided that, to keep costs down, Sandwell Today will become a web-based newsletter - for which the only cost will be officer time to put together.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be submitted within two months of the date of receipt of the response to your request, and should be addressed to:
