I am writing in respect of your recent enquiry for information held by the
Authority under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
You requested information relating to the breakdown of the amount of money
spent by schools in Essex on supply cover for staff during times of absence,
including how much of this total is spent with recruitment agencies and how
much is spent with the local authority bank of teachers.
Unfortunately, Essex County Council does not hold this information. Some or
all of the information you require may be held by schools in Essex. In order to
assist you with your enquiry, in line with section 16 of the Act, we have
