Freedom of Information Act Request - Criminal Offences Under the Consumer Credit Act 1974
Thank you for your request for information received by this team on 17th November. In your e mail you asked the following question:
" What criminal offences are possible under the Consumer Credit Act
1974 and which public body/bodies are responsible for prosecuting
such criminal offences?”
As your request seeks information we may hold, we are treating your request in accordance with the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FoIA).
The criminal offences that are possible under the Consumer Credit Act are listed in Schedule 1 of that Act, which can be accessed by following the link below:

Likewise, the list of public bodies responsible for prosecuting these offences is contained in s161 (1) of the Consumer Credit Act and is also accessible from the link already given above.
