AREA G (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 1993 (AMENDMENT NO. 22) ORDER 2000

Cambridge City Council ("the Council") in pursuance of arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Cambridgeshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 63, and 64 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") (as amended) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order shall come into operation for all purposes on the 23rd day of November 2001 and may be cited as The City of Cambridge Area G (Consolidation) Order 1993 (Amendment No. 22) Order 2000.

2. In this Order the expression "the Order of 1993" shall mean The City of Cambridge Area G (Consolidation) Order 1993 and any reference to the Order of 1993 shall be construed as a reference to that Order as varied or amended.

3. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though in Schedule 2 Part 2 all references to High Street Trumpington and Trumpington Road were deleted and substituted by the following:

HIGH STREET TRUMPINGTON On both sides from the centreline of Long Road for a distance of 56 metres in a southerly direction

HIGH STREET TRUMPINGTON On both sides from a point 40 metres north of the centreline of Alpha Terrace for a distance of 79 metres in a southerly direction

HIGH STREET TRUMPINGTON On both sides from a point 80 metres north of the centreline of Anstey Way for a distance of 15 metres in a southerly direction

HIGH STREET TRUMPINGTON On its west side from a point 47.3 metres north of the centreline of Anstey Way southwards to its junction with Hauxton Road and Shelford Road

HIGH STREET TRUMPINGTON On its east side from a point 25 metres north of the centreline of Anstey Way southwards to its junction with Hauxton Road and Shelford Road

PORSON ROAD On both sides from the centreline of Trumpington Road for a distance of 25 metres in an easterly direction

TRUMPINGTON ROAD On its west side from its junction with Brooklands Avenue to its junction with Long Road

TRUMPINGTON ROAD On its east side from its junction with Brooklands Avenue to a point 29 metres south of the centreline of Newton Road

TRUMPINGTON ROAD On its east side from a point 20 metres north of the centreline of Bentley Road southwards for 30 metres

TRUMPINGTON ROAD On its east side from a point 41 metres north of the centreline of Barrow Road for a distance of 50 metres in a southerly direction

TRUMPINGTON ROAD On its east side from a point 54 metres north of the centreline of Porson Road for a distance of 69 metres in a southerly direction

TRUMPINGTON ROAD On its east side from the centreline of Long Road for a distance of 144 metres in a northerly direction

4. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though the following additions were made to Schedule 2 Part 28:

TRUMPINGTON ROAD On its east side from a point 29 metres south of the centreline of Newton Road to a point 20 metres north of the centreline of Bentley Road

TRUMPINGTON ROAD On its east side from a point 10 metres south of the centreline of to a point 41 metres north of the centreline of Barrow Road

TRUMPINGTON ROAD On its east side from a point 9 metres south of the centreline of to a point 54 metres north of the centreline of Porson Road

TRUMPINGTON ROAD On its east side from a point 15 metres south of the centreline of to a point 144 metres north of the centreline of Long Road

5. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect by the addition of Schedule 3 Parts 1 and 13 as specified by the FIRST SCHEDULE and the SECOND SCHEDULE to this Order

6. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though in Schedule 4 Part 1 all references to High Street Trumpington were deleted.

7. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect by the addition of Schedule 4 Part 6 as specified by the THIRD SCHEDULE to this Order.

8. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though in Schedule 5 all references to High Street Trumpington were deleted.

9. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though the following additions were made to Schedule 5:

HIGH STREET TRUMPINGTON From its junction with Trumpington Road to its junction with Shelford Road

TRUMPINGTON ROAD From its junction with Brooklands Avenue to its junction with High Street Trumpington

10. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and effect as though in Schedule 21 Part 2 the reference to Shelford Road was deleted.

11. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though the following additions were made to Schedule 21 Part 2:

SHELFORD ROAD On the southwest side of the carriageway from its junction with Exeter Close to a point 35 metres northwest of the centreline of Cranleigh Close

TRUMPINGTON ROAD On the east side of the carriageway from a point 29 metres south of the centreline of Newton Road to a point 144 metres north of the centreline of Long Road

12. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though in Schedule 22 the reference to the west side of Trumpington Road was deleted.

13. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though the following additions were made to Schedule 22

HIGH STREET TRUMPINGTON The footway on its west side from a point 7 metres south of the centreline of Gazeley Road for a distance of 33 metres in southerly direction

HIGH STREET TRUMPINGTON The footway on its west side from a point 47 metres north of the centreline of Winchmore Drive southwards for 67 metres

TRUMPINGTON ROAD The footway on its east side from a point 31 metres north of the centreline of Newton Road for a distance of 44 metres in a southerly direction

TRUMPINGTON ROAD The footway on its east side from a point 13 metres north of the centreline of Barrow Road southwards to its junction with Barrow Road

TRUMPINGTON ROAD The footway on its east side from a point 27 metres north of the centreline of Porson Road southwards to its junction with Porson Road

TRUMPINGTON ROAD The footway on its west side from its junction with Brooklands Avenue to a point 59 metres north of the centreline of Latham Road

TRUMPINGTON ROAD The footway on its west side from a point 7 metres north of the centreline of Latham Road for a distance of 35 metres in a southerly direction

TRUMPINGTON ROAD The footway on its west side from a point 23 metres north of the centreline of Porson Road for a distance of 67 metres in a northerly direction

TRUMPINGTON ROAD The footway on its west side from a point 6.5 metres south of the centreline of Gazeley Road for a distance of 35 metres in a southerly direction

14. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though in Schedule 23 Part 2 all references to Shelford Road were deleted and substituted by the following:

SHELFORD ROAD On its northeast side from a point 78 metres northwest of the centreline of Reed Close southeastwards to its junction with Cambridge Road Great Shelford

SHELFORD ROAD On its southwest side from its junction with Exeter Close southeastwards to its junction with Cambridge Road Great Shelford

SHELFORD ROAD On its southwest side from a point 70 metres northwest of the centreline of Cranleigh Close to its junction with High Street Trumpington

15. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though the following additions were made to Schedule 23 Part 2:

HIGH STREET TRUMPINGTON On its east side from its junction with Long Road to a point 50 metres north of the centreline of Wingate Way

TRUMPINGTON ROAD On its west side from the centreline of its junction with Queensway to its junction with Latham Road

TRUMPINGTON ROAD On its east side from its junction with Brooklands Avenue to its junction with Newton Road
