Dear Mr Priestley
FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST
I am writing regarding you request for information under the above legislation about the waiting list for Bullroyd Allotments.
There are currently 16 people on the waiting list for Bullroyd Allotments. Of these, three people are waiting for a second plot and they have been informed that they will only be offered another plot when there is no one on the waiting list. Two names have had plots offered to them, which as yet they have not take up, and a reminder letter has been sent. If they do not reply by the end of the week they will be removed from the list.
The other people on the list have been waiting for just over a year, however the Allotments Officer has now completed her annual inspection of that site and a number of tenants will be written to requesting an explanation for the non-cultivation of their plot. If this is the second year they have not worked the plot, they will be sent a Notice to Quit. Therefore it is anticipated that quite a few plots will be offered to the waiting list over the next few weeks.
If you are not satisfied with this reply, you make ask for a review of this decision by contacting [Bradford City Council request email] or by writing to Freedom of Information Officer, Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Seventh Floor, City Exchange, 61 Hall Ings, Bradford BD1 5SG.
If you are still not satisfied with the outcome of the internal review, you have the right of appeal to the Information Commissioner, who can be contacted at:-
