I refer to your request of 14 November 2008 asking that the following information be provided to you;

Can you please tell me how much money has been paid in grants to owners of privately owned tenement flats in Glasgow?

I can confirm that the Council holds the information that you are requesting and is treating your request as a request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

In financial year 2007/2008 Glasgow City Council paid £5,765,175.17 in tenement grants as follows:

The figures do not include the provision made for Care and Repair, Disabled Adaptations or properties included in the GHA programme as the Council does not differential between tenement and non tenement properties for these classes of expenditure.

The Council accordingly feels that it has complied in full with your request. However, if you feel that this is not the case please contact me at the number below.
