Request for Information: Information Supplied

Please quote our reference: E3726.

Subject: Expansion of flights at City Airport.

We write with regard to your recent enquiry for information held by the Council under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The information requested is:

"We have a list of properties consulted which includes all the properties located outside of the borough. You are welcome to come and view the list at our offices, once an appointment has been arranged. Our opening times are between 9 a.m and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Our address is; First Floor -Town Hall Annexe, 330-354 Barking Road, E6 2RT.

 

The consultation list does not provide any direct information on how many of those are owned by the Council, and that information is not available elsewhere for the Council to provide. However I can confirm the following;

 

i) Residential Council properties- There are a total of 5330 properties located south of the A13. Map 1 (attached) indicates where these are located. 

 

ii) Commercial Council properties - I have provide two attached lists which refers.

 

In terms of your query regarding how many businesses and residents work for the Council, I can confirm that the following is a breakdown of all Newham staff that live in the Borough by post code;

We do not have a list of the number of businesses that work/have contracts with the Council, however I attach a list of all the recorded companies that work onsite at the airport."
