Freedom of Information Request from John Walker on the subject of Common Purpose.
Response
Question 1: The names, ranks/grades of all Norfolk County Council employees who are Common Purpose “graduates”.
We do not hold the information requested. We only hold information as to participation in Common Purpose programmes that was sponsored and funded by the Council. Participation in those programmes may or may not have conferred the epithet `Common Purpose Graduate' on participants.
(It must be clearly understood that the use of the term `Graduate' by Common Purpose is specific to that organisation. It is not in general terms evidence of academic attainment or possession of an accredited educational, vocational, or professional qualification.)
Question 2: Please detail total expenditure by Norfolk County Council on Common Purpose courses for each of the following years: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 to date.
Expenditure attributable to Common Purpose courses and seminars for the calendar years 2004 to 2008 to date is:
£16380
£21385
£7990
£6380.25
