Thank you for your email dated 2^nd August 2010 in which you asked for an internal review to be carried out of the response given to the above request for information.

I have now conducted an internal review and can confirm that the Council introduced a charge for the production of paper or pdf copies of documents in 1988. The charge was introduced to cover the additional costs associated with providing such copies when the detail is available freely on the Council's website.

The information you require can be obtained free of charge via this link (http://maps.greenwich.gov.uk/), which I would encourage you to use. Please feel free to use this service. However, if you still require a paper map or pdf of the Council's housing estate boundaries, please send a cheque for £10 made payable to Greenwich Council.

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.
