Thank you for your letter dated in which you ask for data on the age of normal retirement in 2006 or any later year (exclusive of medical retirement) of police officers in each rank and by gender.
I regret to inform you that the Home Office does not hold the information that you have requested. The information you have requested would be held by individual police forces and a request would have to be made to each police authority in England and Wales.
