Thank you for your request for information, which was received by Manchester City Council on 23 June 2010.

You requested the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000:

“a copy of gifts and hospitality for your housing department. This should include a register held by yourself as landlords and a copy of a register held by companies managing stock on your behalf e.g. PFIs and ALMO. This should cover the period over the last two years. “

Please find attached as requested a copy of the hospitality register for the Council's housing department.

In respect of the 2 PFIs coming within the terms of your request (Adactus and Grove Village), any register of gifts and hospitality they have is not held on behalf of the Council. The Council does not therefore hold the information and cannot provide it.

In respect of the ALMO coming within the terms of your request (Northwards), again its register of gifts and hospitality is not held on behalf of the Council. However, Northwards is a separate public authority subject to FOIA in its own right (being a company limited by guarantee). I would therefore advise that you approach Northwards directly to request this information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
