Thank you for your request for information received on 15/06/10, in which you asked for the following information:

1. How you procure Construction Consultancy Services

2. How you procure Construction Contractors

3. If by your own framework, please tell me:

a. The titles and content of the relevant frameworks

b. Who is on the current frameworks

c. The start and end dates of the frameworks

d. Any possible extension periods to the frameworks

e. The name and contact email of person responsible for the frameworks.

My response is as follows:

Haringey has framework agreements in place for both construction consultants and general build contractors. EU procurement processes were used to select the companies under each framework agreement.

The framework agreements are as follows:

Consultant for Construction Works (CfCW). This framework agreement provides design team services for construction projects. The framework was awarded from 28/04/2008 to 27/04/2010 and has been extended by 1 year with a possible extension of up to a further 1 year. The company employed under this framework agreement is NPS London Ltd.

Consultant for Construction Works (additional services) (CfCWA). This framework agreement provides quantity surveyors, CDM co-ordinators and clerks of works. The framework was awarded from 28/04/2008 to 27/04/2010 and has been extended by 1 year with a possible extension of up to a further 1 year. The companies employed under this framework agreement are:

Quantity surveying - Potter Raper Partnership LLP, Keegans Group Ltd and Frankham Consultancy Group Ltd
CDM co-ordinator services - Gardiner & Theobald LLP
Clerk of works services - John Burke Associates Ltd

Framework agreement for minor construction works. This provides general build contractors for works of value up to £250,000. It is split into framework agreements for 3 different value bands: up to £25,000, £25,000 to £125,000 and £125,000 to £250,000. The framework agreement was awarded from 26/04/2010 to 25/04/2012 with the option to extend for up to two years. The contractors under this framework agreement are as follows:

It is split into framework agreements for 3 different value bands: £250,000 to £1,000,000, £1,000,000 to £3,500,000 and over £3,500,000. The framework agreement was awarded from 01/04/2010 to 31/03/2012 with the option to extend for up to two years. The contractors under this framework agreement are as follows:

Framework agreement for conservation construction works. This provides contractors for conservation works, i.e. in conservation areas and listed buildings, of value less than £500,000. The framework agreement was awarded for 2 years with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years. The commencement date is yet to be finalised but will be early July. The contractors under the framework agreement are as follows:
