Thank you for email of 12 June 2010, requesting the information at 1) and 2) below.
1. The number of Home Inspectors and Energy Assessors; both domestic and non
domestic, on the Landmark database.
2. Can you confirm the frequency in which these Landmark figures are updated and
has an update happened since Mr Pickles decided to abolish Home Information
Packs?
I confirm that Communities and Local Government holds the information that you have
requested at 1. and that I am able to provide you with the information you have requested.
The number of registered Home Inspectors and Energy Assessors on the Landmark
central EPC Registers are shown below. The figures are current at 28 June 2010. Please
note that these figures include duplicates for those assessors who may be accredited with
more than one accreditation scheme and who may be qualified to carry out more than one
type of energy assessment.
Home Inspectors: 1,204
Domestic Energy Assessors: 12,862
On Construction Energy Assessors: 1,273
Display Energy Certificate assessors: 1,399
Level 3 EPC assessors: 3,941
