6 The council works with Friends Groups at the following parks:

7 The Council has received grants from the DCMS for 22 new play areas under the Playbuilder programme, details of which can be found on the Council's intranet.

We have also recently secured a grant of 1.2 million for Dunwood Park from the Heritage Lottery Fund for park restoration.

8 We do not have a financial summary for each park, again a financial summary on parks expenditure, which is in the region of 6 million pounds, can be found on the Council's intranet.

9-10 The staff at each park varies seasonally. However the total number of staff, managerial, professional, technical and manual is 161 full time employees.
