Freedom of Information Act 2000 - Request for Information
I am writing in respect of your recent enquiry for information regarding held by the Authority under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please find herewith the following answers to your questions:
Question 1 Can you please tell me what surveys have been done to conclude that the people of Sutton Coldfield do not want Wheelie Bins?
Answer: No local surveys have been undertaken, however, a city wide survey was undertaken which concluded that the current collection methods are the preferred choice of the majority of Birmingham residents.
Question 2 Can you please tell me who is in charge of supplying Wheelie Bins to residents?
Answer: It is not Birmingham City Council policy to supply Wheelie Bins to any residents.
Question 3 Can you please tell me which councillors have put a stop to residents of Sutton Coldfield receiving Wheelie Bins?
Answer: It is not Birmingham City Council policy to supply Wheelie Bins to any residents. This is an Executive decision of the City Council.
