  1. Minutes of 11th AGM

The minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 3rd March 2008, were accepted as a true record.

  1. Matters Arising

Para 4(c) the chair explained the position regarding the possible addition of the words `Civic Centre' to the current sign displayed on Pittwood House. This was accepted. No further action will be undertaken.

Para 4(d) the Secretary explained he had not corresponded with the North Lincolnshire Council C.E.O. over the Glandford regatta but would undertake to do so in the near future.

Para 5 (e) Cllr M. Ali asked if the Scunthorpe Christmas Lights being available for other use had been dealt with. The Chair replaced that no individual usage was considered appropriate by the Multi Ethincs.

  1. Scunthorpe Special Expenses

  1. Mr K Coyle attended the meeting to report to Trustees on expenditure under Scunthorpe Special Expenses for 2008/2009.

  1. Questions were put to Mr Coyle by Cllrs Armitage, Bainbridge, Ali, Ellerby Wilson, Collinson, J. Ishaq, Wilson, Simpson, Barkworth and the Chair.

  1. Mr Coyle will provide written answers to those questions he was unable to deal with at the meeting.

  1. Portrait Display

The Secretary reported that NLC were proposing to display a portrait of Cpl Budd VC in Function Room 1 and are prepared to consider any other local outstanding individuals for the future.

  1. Wreath Laying

Cllrs J. Ishaq and M. Simpson to lay the wreath on November 2009 Armistice Day.

The Chair closed the meeting, as there were no other matters for discussion
