Dear Ms Evans
Re: Freedom of Information response
Thank you for your email of 10 June 2010 in which you requested the following information:
I would like clarify my request above by making a more specific request for the data from the
Fujitsu Oracle database system that is used to store the County Council accounts, if that is
possible.
I would like to request everything from the following tables in the Fujitsu Oracle database
system;
GL_JE_LINES, Gl_SETS_OF_BOOKS, GL_JE_HEADERS, FND_USER(*), GL_JE_BATCHES,
GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS,
FND_FLEX_VALUES,
FND_FLEX_VALUES_TL,
AP_INVOICES_ALL,
AP_INVOICE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL,
PO_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL,
PO_HEADERS_ALL,
PO_VENDORS(*),
and
PO_VENDOR_SITES_ALL(*).
*- These would probably be anonymised removing employee details and bank details.
Your request has been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and I can confirm that
Cambridgeshire County Council does hold the information you have requested.
However, we estimate that to provide you with all the information you have requested will exceed the
appropriate limit and we are refusing your request on these grounds, under section 12(2) of the Act.
The appropriate limit is specified in regulations and for local government is set at £450 as specified by
The Freedom of Information and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004. May
I refer you back to our previous response to FOI 680896, dated 3 June 2010, in which we provided you
with a copy of the Council’s charging policy.
Gary Lythgoe, of the Council’s Finance, Property and Performance service, has advised that it may be
possible to provide you with some information. However, before he is able to do so, it would be useful
to discuss what information could be retrieved within the appropriate limit. If you are able to come to
Cambridge, Gary would be happy to meet with you to try and find a way forward. Alternatively, if you
are not local to Cambridge, he can be contacted through the Contact Centre on 0345 045 5200.
If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a
complaint or request a review of our decision, you should write to Sandra Taylor, Corporate Information
Manager, c/o Information Governance Team, Box RES 1405, Babbage House, Cambridge CB3 0AP
within 40 days of the date of this letter.
If you are not content with the outcome your complaint, you may apply directly to the Information
Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted
the complaints procedure provided by the Council. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at:
The Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
Yours sincerely,
Jo Withey
Information Governance Officer
