Experience of Performance, Audit & Planning management and knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice. Project Management, problem solving and negotiating skills. Computer literate. Experience of designing and developing policies and procedures to ensure statutory compliance, improve service delivery and achieve organisational aims. Proven record at management level of delivering required results within a customer focused organisation. Ability to persuade and influence in a constructive manner. Established and maintained successful, complex internal and external relationships across a variety of forums. Proven record of maximising resources and enhancing the quality ethos to ensure efficiency and best value. Ability to use all methods of communication to engage, influence and gain support in order to achieve organisational aims. Actively takes into account customer needs and strives to meet them. Ability to work creatively within rules, processes and standards. Inspirational team leader and excellent people management skills. Knowledge and understanding of the provisions within the Local Government (Scotland) Act 2003.
