Thank you for contacting the National Museum Wales with your recent request.
I refer to your email of 4 May 2008 in which you have asked for the following information:-
I would like to request the total number of objects that you hold in your permanent collections, broken down if possibly by your constituent museums.
If an exact figure is not available, please provide instead your estimated total, along with an explanation as to how this figure was calculated.
To answer you request, I have used information gathered during the 2007 review of collections.
