Over the last 12 months, as a percentage of total complaints against the Council, how many ended up being dealt with by:

Your request has been considered and I am able to inform you that between 1 October 2007 and 30 September 2008, 8% of the total complaints received against the Council were Ombudsman enquiries. The Council is not aware of any complaints being dealt with by the Police, Solicitors or Courts.

To help us to improve the quality of our responses to future Freedom of Information requests, any feedback you may have on this response would be appreciated. A copy of the Council's Customer Comments leaflet is attached to assist you.
