Thank you for your request for information that was received on 16 March 10 in which you requested

Please send me copies of all correspondence between Southwark

Borough Council and Thames Clippers regarding the upkeep and safety of Greenland Pier during the calendar years 2009 and 2010

I apologise for the length of time that it has taken for us to provide you with this information, as there were a number of officers involved in the retrieving and collating of the information. Once the information had been obtained we had to consider potential exemptions and conduct a public interest test to determine whether it was in the public interest to release the informaion.It was determined that it was in the public's interest to provide you with the majority of the information. Before the information could be released, we had to also undergo the process of redacting all personnel information in accordance with Sec 40 Personnel Information. This process has been completed and enclosed is the information that you have requested.

This letter serves as a section 17 refusal notice for the redacted information.
