The Ofsted brand signature is
made up of three elements: the ‘age

The Ofsted brand signature has

Brand signature: clear space
For the brand signature to be
effective and have good presence,
a minimum clear space should be
adhered to for all applications.
The minimum clear space around al four sides is
at least the full height and width of the largest
‘age range’ icon of the Ofsted brand signature.
Nothing should infringe on the clear space around
the brand signature.

Brand signature: positioning
There are clear rules regarding the
positioning of our brand signature.
As you wil see throughout these guidelines the brand
signature sits within the top right of al stationery and
marketing collateral.
The clear space acts as a positional lock-up.
Most of Ofsted’s col ateral is built proportional y
