IAR-001212 Response
The sum in total, if any, spent on maps, map procurement, processing and distribution on-line and in paper form during either financial or calendar year 2006?
The County Council has a single corporate contract with the Ordnance survey organisation which provides CCC with electronic versions of all the OS maps. These digitised maps are held electronically for all relevant Council staff to access and to view either on screen or to print to provide a paper copy. This is the source of all maps in Cornwall County Council and in the financial year 2006-07 CCC spent £95,971.15 on this contract/agreement.
The proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (a) spent on licenses or other fees to Ordnance Survey?
See above response
The proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (a) which was paid for by council tax?
The Council does not hold information which breaks down this financial request. We can inform you that 23% of the council's gross expenditure was financed by council tax in 2006/2007.
The proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (c) broken down in to council tax house bands on a per-household basis?
See above response.
