Request for information

In your email of 15 September, you asked to know how many times, during the last reporting year, each of the Ombudsmen had personally visited councils within their area of jurisdiction.

You also asked for a list of the councils concerned, noting how many times the Ombudsmen had visited each council.

Mr Redmond and Mr White both made nine visits to councils in 2007/08. Two of Mr White's visits were to regional seminars where there were representatives of a number of councils (see list for details). Mrs Seex made 31 visits.

I attach a separate list of the councils concerned.

That concludes my response and I hope you find the information useful.
