The University of Oxford must comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, implementing Directive 95/46/EC. Please provide information about the results of reviews, assessments and inspections about whether and how the University is complying with the Act undertaken by the University's Data Protection section since 1st January 2007. This includes the dates of, and reports of, such checks. |

The University takes seriously its compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and it is therefore subject to ongoing internal review. Consequently, we are unable to provide specific dates or results of reviews, assessments and inspections. The University's internal auditors periodically evaluate the University's arrangements for compliance with policies, laws and regulations but there have been no reviews of Data Protection Act compliance during the time period requested.
