FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST

Thank you for your emails of 26 February in which you requested information regarding the amount Hackney Council has spent on the 5 Host Borough Unit in each of the last 4 financial years (2005/06, 2006/07, 2007/08 and 2008/09), and also the amount budgeted to spend on the 5 Host Borough Unit in 2009/2010. For ease, we are responding to both of these requests in this letter.

Your request has been considered and the information requested is below:

In 2005/06, the Council did not make any contribution to the 5 Host Borough Unit, as it had not yet been established. A breakdown of the Council contribution for subsequent years is as follows:

2006/07 - £100,000

2007/08 - £102,400

2008/09 - £180,500

For 2009/2010, the allocated contribution is £180,500.
