RESPONSE

Under S 1 (1) (a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), I can confirm that Nottinghamshire Police does hold the information you have requested.

Could you please tell my the actual oath a police man takes before he can take the office of constable and could you also tell me if a community support officer takes any oath.

Please see attached Declaration for Office of Constable. PCSOs do not swear an oath as they are not warranted. They have their powers bestowed them by the Chief Constable.
