Dear Mr Dunn
Freedom of Information Request: 052/2010
Thank you for your request received by the Council 9 February 2010.
Your enquiry was:
āCan you please provide by email details of residential property addresses (Just
addresses not personal names) with BR8 postcodes where a current Council Tax
Notice Of Exemption is in forceā
The Councilās response:
Sevenoaks District Council can confirm that it holds this information.
Unfortunately the information is considered exempt under Section 40 of the Freedom
of Information Act, 2000 as the release of private addresses could potentially breach
Principles 1 & 2 of the Data Protection Act 1984.
Furthermore this information is exempt under section 31 of the Freedom of
Information Act, 2000 as the release of the information could prejudice the physical
security of the properties named.
I can, however, confirm that there are 173 properties within this postal code where a
current Council Tax Notice of Exemption is in force.
I trust the above information has been of assistance to you. Should you have any
further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Should you be dissatisfied with the way we have processed your request the Council
has an internal review process which you can begin by contacting Ally Round,
Democratic Services Manager (
[email address]). If you remain
dissatisfied you have the right to appeal to the Information Commissionersā Office
(ICO)
