Dear Mr McCloy

Freedom of Information Act 2000

I am writing to confirm that the Department has now completed its search for the information which you requested on 4 February 2010.

The Departments response to each of the questions raised in your letter is as follows:

  1. The Charities Advisory Committee would not hold information relating to MLAs attendance, or that of their staff, however, this information may be available from the Northen Ireland Assembly.

  1. The Charities Advisory Committee is made up of a chairperson and four members, none of which have attended a Common Purpose course through the Charities Advisory Committee.

  1. The Charities Advisory Committee does not have the authority to make payments.

  1. No payment was made to Common Purpose by the Charities Advisory Committee.
