Thank you for your request for information about Charity “Common Purpose”. Your request was received on 4 February 2010 and I am dealing with it under the terms of the above legislation.
The leaflet enclosed tells you about the legislation and the procedures I will follow in handling your request.
In some circumstances a fee may be payable but if that is the case I will let you know the likely charges before proceeding.
I will be unable to proceed with your request without clarification of the information you wish to receive. To help us do so, I would like to know the following:
Point 2 of your e-mail refers to `employees', please clarify employees of whom; and
Point 3 of your e-mail refers to money paid to Common Purpose, please clarify by whom this money has been paid and for what reason.
Please note that if I do not receive appropriate clarification of your information requirements by 5 May 2010, which is three months from the date of this letter, then I will consider your request closed.
