Thank you for your request for information that was logged on 01 February 2010. You have requested the following information:
“In a BBC report Martin Low states that Westminster City Council (WCC) have documents from the GLC that explain how all WCC's diplomatic car spaces are legal.
Could these documents please be made available to the public as below?
Martin Low states that the GLC had legally placed all WCC's diplomatic spaces.
Can we see those documents and the spaces they relate to?
Martin Low also states that WCC have the current documents for all
WCC's diplomatic spaces.
Can we see those documents and the spaces they relate to?”

Copies of the original Secretary of State for Transport authorisation of Traffic Signs for Diplomatic Parking Bays, dated 30 November 1978;
The Greater London (Free Parking Places) (Diplomatic Missions) (No1) Order 1978, plans showing locations relating to the 1978 authorisation;
The Secretary of State for Transport Authorisation of Traffic Signs for Diplomatic Parking Bays, dated 4 November 2009, and the associated schedule of sites.
