and local priorities. The key changes are summarised as fol ows. The main message coming out of the review was that
there was a need to provide greater support for improvements in quality, especial y in areas such as the service user
experience and their safety.
The directorate will now be re-named
The Quality and Information Directorate and wil comprise two teams, the
Quality and Performance Team and the Information Team. My responsibilities as nursing director wil continue as usual
even though the word wil not appear in my title. Sue Chapman wil change her title to Head of Quality and
Performance and wil deputise for me when required. Jil Pawlyn left the Trust at the end of October and her post as
Lecturer Practitioner wil be replaced by the new post of Service User Experience Co-ordinator. The post previously
occupied by Penny Rivers in the IT team wil become an Information and Performance Analyst post in the Quality and
Performance Team. This wil be advertised shortly.

New ‘Payroll Guidance Pack’
The ‘Payroll Guidance Pack’ has been revised to reflect recent changes in the Trust’s payroll provider, and also
enhanced to include more detailed guidance in relation to all payroll related documentation and required
processes.
The new pack is called ‘Payroll Guidance Pack Version 12’ and can be accessed via the Trust’s internet by
going through ‘Useful Information, Policies and Procedures, then accessing the document under Protocols’.
