Dear Mr Carroll
We have considered your request for information about the Society for
Environmental Exploration (operating as 'Frontier'), Frontier Ltd (sister company),
which we received on 21 January 2010. For convenience I respond to each of your
questions in turn:
I would like to know of any correspondence between either of the companies and University
College London and if possible I would like to read it?
This information is attached.
I would also like to know if any representatives from Frontier have visited the university to
speak at any public events such as conferences, careers fairs etc or if there are any plans for
this to happen?
Frontier Ltd. attended University College London Union (UCLU) Freshers'
Fayre on Friday 2nd October 2009 and Well Being Week on 15th January
2010. They also attended a Volunteering Fair (held jointly with the Voluntary
Service Unit) on 2 October 2006, 1 October 2007 and an employer
presentation with the UCL Careers Service on 7 March 2007 and 5 February
2008.
I would also be very grateful if you could find out whether or not the university has any kind of
business relationship with Frontier. In particular, does the university facilitate marketing and
advertising for Frontier, (for example, posters, advertisements in emails or letters to students,
links on websites etc.)?
The only business activity held between Frontier and University College
London was their attendance on the above events.
