Freedom of Information Act Request - Case 237

Thank you for your request under the Freedom of Information Act dated and received by us on 8 January 2010. I have repeated the main points of your enquiry and provided answers below.

I would like to request a complete list of suppliers/contractors and consultants that have been used over the past year when procuring I.t hardware and the total spend on i.t hardware during the past year.

I would also like to request full details of the person(s) who conduct the i.t purchasing there.

The total spend on IT Hardware for the calendar year 01 January 2009 to 31 December 2009 was £181,187.98. These hardware purchases supported the delivery of IT services to 950 workstations across all Tate sites.

The suppliers used during this period are listed below:

All IT hardware purchases are co-ordinated by our central IS Service Desk ([email address]) under the governance of the IS Management Board.

If you are not satisfied with this response to your request for information, you may seek an internal review of this response by replying in writing to this letter. Tate will respond to your request for a review within 20 working days of the receipt of your request.
