Re: Request under Freedom of Information Act 2000
I am in receipt of your e-mail in which you have requested the following information:
Addresses and rateable values of commercial properties with Rv's below 11,000 who are eligible for, but do not currently receive small business rate relief.
The names of the owners of those properties referred to in (a)
I can firstly confirm that the Council does hold the information you have requested and I am able to provide the majority of the information you have requested. Please refer to the attached spreadsheet(s).
You will see that the lists do not include the names of individual owners of the properties referred to above as this is classed as personal data and disclosure of such data would be in breach of the fair processing provisions of the data protection act 1988. By virtue of section (40)(2) of the Act, the Council is exempt form any obligation to disclose this information, and will not do so.
The information provided to you under the Act is for your own use only and may not be re-used without the consent of the Council.
