I am writing with regard to your request dated 29th January 2010 in relation to the Council's own publication and can I again apologise for any inconvenience caused by the delay in responding to your request.

Question 1 - Life in Salford is distributed monthly with a circulation of 114,557

Questions 2, 3 and 4 are covered by the attached word file.

Question 5 - the following public sector partners pay for advertising in Life in Salford:

Salford NHS PCT

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust

Greater Manchester Police

Greater Manchester Police Authority

Salford Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership

Question 6 - only local recruitment advertising for jobs in the city council appear in Life in Salford.

Question 7 - there isn't an editorial policy guide formally drafted

Question 8 - there isn't an advertising policy guide formally drafted

Question 9 - production of Life in Salford is carried out as part of the normal day to day work of the Marketing and Communications team. There are no staff employed directly to produce Life in Salford.
