SUBJECT: Allotment waiting lists
Thank you for requesting information about the above. I am pleased to enclose the requested information as follows:
1) How many allotment sites are there in East Staffordshire for which East Staffordshire Borough Council has access to waiting list data? None
2) What is the total number of plots on these sites? N/A
3) What is the total number of people on waiting lists for these sites? Unknown.
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications? No
5) How many new council allotment sites were brought into use in 2009? Please give:
a) number of new sites None
b) names of new sites N/A
c) total area of new land in hectares None
d) total number of new plots None
For your information there are 15 allotment site provided by the Borough Council which contain 533 plots. These are managed through local site associations which maintain the waiting lists. All 15 sites currently operate a waiting list.
