I write to acknowledge your recent application to East Riding of Yorkshire Council for access to information under the above Act the details of which are set out below.
Details of Request:
As of January 2010, please could you tell me:
How many allotment sites are there in East Riding of Yorkshire for which East Riding of Yorkshire Council has access to waiting list data?
What is the total number of plots on these sites?
What is the total number of people on waiting lists for these sites?
Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
How many new Council allotment sites were brought into use in 2009? Please give:
number of new sites
names of new sites
total area of new land in hectares
total number of new plots
You have a right to have the existence of the information requested either confirmed or denied unless the Council claims an Absolute Exemption under Part II of the Act. Officers are currently establishing whether the information requested is held and I will write to you with the Council's response by 1 February 2010 which is 20 working days following receipt of your request.
