Thank you for your e-mail request of 19 January 2010 for information under the Freedom of
Information (Scotland) Act 2002 in relation to the Independent Review of the Scottish Health
Council (SHC). You requested:

recorded information contained in correspondence between the Patients and
Quality Division of the Scottish Government and staff of the Scottish Health
Council since 1st August 2008 concerning the discharge of the functions of the
Scottish Health Council, in relation to the independent review of the Council.
We have now completed our search for the information you requested. The papers and
information identified for release are enclosed and listed overleaf in date order.

20 working days of receipt. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then
have the right to make a formal complaint to the Scottish Information Commissioner.
