Thank you for your request for the above file, which we received on 23/12/2009. We are dealing with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that the file requested was destroyed in 2006 in accordance with our records disposal policy. I can inform you that the file held papers dating from 1966 to 1982 and that the appraisal note confirmed that there was little information on the file & that the Isle of Man is responsible for recording its own defence policy. I cannot confirm whether the information you seek is held by another body.
